The School of Law – Dhirubhai Ambani University, Gandhinagar had the privilege of hosting Ms. Anuprita Daga, Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Angel One, for an expert session on the rapidly evolving landscape of cybersecurity, data privacy, and digital risk management.
With decades of leadership experience across the BFSI sector, Ms. Daga has been instrumental in shaping resilient security architectures and strengthening digital trust across large-scale financial ecosystems. Her session focused on one of the most pressing challenges facing fintechs and digital platforms today: balancing innovation with strong, proactive security frameworks.
Addressing students, faculty, and industry participants, she highlighted the need for organisations to embed privacy-by-design, adopt robust cyber hygiene practices, and anticipate emerging threats as financial services become increasingly technology-driven. She also emphasised that while compliance with regulatory norms is essential, building user confidence through transparent and secure systems is equally critical for long-term growth in the digital economy.
The interaction offered valuable insights into the intersection of law, technology, and financial regulation, underscoring the pivotal role of cybersecurity leadership in India’s expanding digital finance ecosystem.
