The Dhirubhai Ambani University – School of Law was represented by Mr. Sivadath Madhu Menon, Assistant Professor and Head of the Aviation Law and Management vertical, at the 1st The Economic Times Infra–Air Summit, held on 18 September 2025 at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi.
The Summit convened senior policymakers, industry leaders, corporate executives, and members of the diplomatic community to reflect on the evolving landscape of India’s aviation sector. Discussions spanned key themes including regional airport development, airline and cargo operations, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and the future of aerospace manufacturing.
Mr. Menon engaged with a range of stakeholders—including representatives from the French Embassy in India and the Royal Bhutanese Embassy—highlighting the vital role of academic perspectives in policy dialogue and sectoral strategy. These conversations underscored the growing need for interdisciplinary collaboration to support India’s aviation expansion and to build the legal and regulatory capacity required for its next phase of growth.
Participation in platforms such as the Infra–Air Summit enriches the University’s Aviation Law and Management vertical, strengthening ongoing efforts in research, executive training, and industry-linked education at the intersection of aviation, policy, and law.
